The Illinois Municipal League is providing a sample ordinance for FOIA compliance under Public Act 96-542. This sample ordinance is included within the 2010 version The Sunshine Laws, which covers the Open Meetings and Freedom of Information Act. The book was written by attorneys from the law firm of Klein, Thorpe and Jenkins, Ltd. and published by the Illinois Municipal League.
