Synopsis:
SB 3658 provides that, beginning August 6 through August 15, 2010, no state sales tax (5%) will be collected on clothes or school supplies. The 1.25% rate for local sales tax as well as any additional locally imposed tax will continue to be collected during that time. The legislation specifically defines clothes and school supplies.
